About Us

Affordable health & safety advice and training

EPRisk-32EP Risk Consultancy provides comprehensive, affordable health & safety advice and training services to all sectors of business.

Our company, part of an independent group, is run by chartered health & safety consultants in the centre of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, where we have a fully-equipped training centre.

We’re members of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and we share its values of integrity, competence, respect and service.

Whatever the size, type or location of your business, we can work together to ensure it is legally compliant and that you and your employees are protected.

We can, for example, complete a fire risk assessment for a local fish and chip shop or provide a full health and safety management system for an international manufacturer. We can offer training courses in first aid and training and assessment in DSEAR.

Our initial consultation is free.

Our client bases stretch from the north of Scotland to the south east of England. If some of your employees work away from your main location, we can travel to them to do the work required.

As an independent company we offer a professional service with a personal touch – and you can be assured that our advice is clear, straightforward and practical.

When we work for your business, we become part of your team. We get to know you, your employees and your business. We believe this is the only way to offer you competent, comprehensive advice and put in place systems specific to your business or organisation.

CASE STUDY: Works Accident

A manufacturing client based in Leicester contacted us after receiving an enforcement notice following an accident where an employee had amputated a finger while working on a process. Within 48 hours, EP Risk Consultancy created an action plan and worked with an appointed health and safety consultant to ensure all actions were closed and implemented. The Health & Safety Executive returned to find a number of comprehensive risk improvements in place and verbally notified their satisfaction. The company avoided legal prosecution and significant uninsurable fines.
