Health & Safety Manager

Mick Brennan was a joiner then a site engineer on civil engineering sites prior to joining West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service in 1982. He specialised in technical rescue and holds a Diploma in Specialist Rescue. He was the station manager of the training centre, station commander of Halifax and Assistant District Commander of Calderdale Fire Prevention before retiring in June 2013 after 31 years. He has a wealth of experience of managing health & safety and has worked as an adviser, delivering training and carrying out the role of the ‘competent person’ for a variety of companies. Mick played football and is a keen golfer. He is married with two young daughters, so spends most of his free time taxiing them around as they play competitive sport at county standard.

Lisa began her career as a corporate account executive for an international insurance broker, moving into health & safety and risk management in 2009. As well as experience in general health & safety consultancy, she has managed spectator safety at many of the country’s largest sporting events such as the Grand National.

Jason is an experienced chartered health & safety practitioner with a strong background in construction, traffic management and manufacturing. After leaving the armed forces, where he had served as a plant operator mechanic, he worked as a health & safety adviser for Colas Ltd. There he gained a wealth of experience in advising, training and auditing.

Having worked in insurance and the health & safety industry for several years, Vicki cooperates with our consultants, managers and sub-contractors. She also oversees the compliance operations of the Eastwood group and ensures our documents are delivered to the highest standard and quality.

Helen Gafney

After 27 years as an account handler in the insurance industry, dealing with prominent corporate clients, Helen joined our team as a part-time administrator. Along with a wide-range of administrative duties, she has a particular responsiblity for the maintenance of our client management system.
